Educational Mission:
I see my responsibility as an educator to challenge students toward a shift in thinking critically about the familiar world around them and awareness of the issues confronting the global world.
Experience:
I was privileged to be raised locally and attend higher level education at Cal Poly and University of California, Santa Cruz. My real education however came through travel and trying on different ways of living. I have worked Europe as a bike messenger, in West Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer, and in Montana as a wilderness guide.
