Local Scholarships

Below are scholarships applications links awarded to Lucia Mar Unified School District students. These scholarships require a separate application process, each with a link or contact information to access the application.
 
You can find these applications in three locations: there are links on the above local scholarship list, the file links below with the corresponding application name below, and hard copies can be found in the scholarship filing cabinet in the counseling office.
 
Please verify if the deadline signifies the application must be submitted, postmarked by or physically at the office of each community agency providing the scholarship.
- California Retired Teachers Association is offering $1,000 scholarships to students with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA.  Please complete the application below and return it by February 22, 2019.
- The American Association of University Women are offering a scholarship to a student with a minimum 3.5 GPA who is planning to attend a four-year university in the Fall of 2019.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 5, 2019.
- The Arroyo Grande Woman's Club is offering scholarships to graduating Seniors.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 1, 2019.
- The Elks are looking for one student to be awarded the Teenager of the Month award for each month of the school year.  At the end of the year, all teens of the month will be considered for a $1000 scholarships.  Please complete the application below and return it to Mrs. Hirase in the Career Center.  Applications are due by March 22nd.
- The California School Employees Association (CSEA) Lucia Mar Chapter 275 will be awarding scholarships to students who are dependents of CSEA members.  Please complete the application below and return it by March 29, 2019.
- The Nipomo Lions Club will be offering two scholarships to students who plan to continue their education full-time after high school.  Please complete the application below and return it to Mrs. Hirase by April 1, 2019.
- Union Civica y Cultural Mexicana will be offering scholarships to one male and one female student of Mexican descent with a 2.0 or higher GPA.  Students planning on attending universities, community colleges, and trade schools are eligible.  Please complete the application below and return it to Mrs. Hirase by April 30, 2019.
