Community Service

Students are required to complete 20 hours of community service for a non-profit organization in order to graduate. The form below needs to be signed by a supervisor within the organization where the work was done.
 
COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES:

April 13th: The next Senior Tech Clinic is happening on Saturday, April 13th, 10am to 11:30am.  If you are good with technology please consider helping Senior Citizens get their devices connected!  See flyer below for more information.

MARCH 31st:
Sunday, March 31st is the first ever Santa Maria Open Streets. Main Street from Broadway to Blosser for a day full of booths, food, demonstrations, events, and family fun! It's free to attend, and they are looking for volunteers all day. You can sign up for multiple shifts, and will receive a letter of recommendation from the organizer. MARCH 2019:
Transitions Mental Health Association is seeking volunteer Greeters/Photographers for their BOWL-A-THON 2019 which happens over 5 separate days in March in San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach.. MAY 11th:
Saturday, May 11th is the annual Miracle Miles for Kids 10K in Morro Bay. They are beginning to recruit volunteers. They need over 300 to pull the event off! They are looking for people to work both the packet pick up the day before and the race itself. To register to volunteer, please visit mm4k.com.
